Yes, registration on TechConnect.aero is absolutely free. You will only be charged when adding aircraft to your portal or if you're a provider, registering for selected airports. We offer both monthly and yearly plans.

1. Aircraft Operators will register their aircraft which will then give them access to a dashboard with several tools. When an AOG event occurs, the operator will select their aircraft from their dashboard, select the "post new request" tab, select AOG, complete the short details form and submit. This action will send the AOG request details to every provider that has registered to support airport that the aircraft is located at via email, posting on the providers dashboard and best of all, the provider will receive a text message that they can immediately respond to. We expect you will receive a response within minutes. 2. Maintenance & Service Providers will register for the airports that they can support along with the types of services they can perform (Global Access subscribers can select to cover regions instead of select airports). Once an AOG request is sent to an airport or region that the provider can support, the provider will receive an immediate notification that details the type of aircraft, location, description of the problem as well as the date and time of next flight. The notification will be in the form of an email, posting on the providers request page as well as a text message to the cell phone indicated during registration. Via text, the provider will be able to either select the link to be brought to the webpage to see the full details of the request, or they can simply click a different link to accept or decline the request.

TechConnect.aero is an online platform that connects aircraft operators with maintenance and other service providers, in an effort to minimize the difficulty of finding AOG or urgent services in a given location. Our platform not only reduces the time it takes to find a local service provider, but by doing so, it also drastically reduces the time and cost it takes to get your aircraft returned to service.

Yes, you can promote your business through our platform. We offer advertising opportunities through banner ad space at the top of the Aircraft Operators dashboard page that can display you advertisement. The advertisement will be clickable and bring the customer to your webpage of choice. Please contact our support team for more information.

Yes, we take data security seriously. We have implemented security measures to protect your information. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

Yes, our platform has been optimized for mobile use. You can access it on smartphones and tablets through your preferred web browser.

Currently, we do not have a dedicated mobile app, but you can easily access our website on your mobile device. We plan to release a mobile app for iOS and Android in the upcoming months.

We know all too well that finding an AOG service provider at the location that you need, at the time you need it, is very difficult. Time after time, you are left to contact the OEM or similar provider, that will "eventually" be able to support you, but it may take a couple of days and several thousands of dollars just to move the technicians to your location. Tech Connect is built to already have local providers waiting to help. This not only reduces the time it takes to find a provider, but it ultimately saves you money by not incurring massive reposition costs as well as getting you returned to service more quickly, which will hopefully save your trip, instead of resulting in lost revenue or high charter fees.

As a service provider, you will receive every support request that originates from an airport that you have selected to support. There is no need to incur advertising costs or hire salespeople to promote your business. The customers come to you. The platform is great for single technicians, small shops as well as larger AOG providers that have a fleet of trucks located around the world. We believe that your subscription should pay for itself after the first service call.

We offer Global Coverage, with the exception of nationally restricted countries or zones.

Yes, we offer a "Coverage Area" map that shows the locations and provider information in the form of a wrench. As we grow, more and more areas will be covered. If you commonly fly to an area that historically has poor support, please help by spreading the word about our website. As more and more people hear about us, the faster we'll grow, which will result in better, more complete map coverage. This will help everyone in the long run.

Yes! We have a built in flight tracker that will not only display your registered fleet on the dashboard map, but it will also show the aircrafts location, flight details and progress tracker on the aircraft specific page. Our aircraft map will also display the location of the service providers as your aircraft in en route. This may prove to be helpful in the case that your original destination is remote. You may be able to find services at a different location while still in flight and change your destination.

Although we have not yet implemented the feature for selective un-blocking, you can still track an aircraft who's registration number has been blocked, by entering the company call-sign details on your aircrafts registration page. For more information about obtaining a company call sign, you may find the following NBAA article helpful: https://nbaa.org/aircraft-operations/airspace/atc-issues-procedures/how-to-get-an-icao-call-sign-telephony-designator/

Our platform has you covered! First, register as either an operator or a provider. Once you have completed your registration or at anytime in the future, you may register as the other by simply clicking the link provided on your dashboard. You will then have access to all of the features that we provide by selecting the toggle at the top of your page. It's just that simple!

You are able to provide several different contact and cell phone numbers. Each one can be independently selected to receive, or stop receiving the messages as you see fit.

No problem! Just select the "New Job Notification" toggle on the left side of the page. This will allow you to turn on/off notifications.

Each registered aircraft is allotted 3 AOG requests per month. If no provider response is received within one hour of posting the request, it will expire and the request will be returned to you. If for some reason you need to make more than 3 requests within the given month, you will have the option to purchase the additional request. At the beginning of each month, your "request bank" will be renewed. There is no roll-over option at this time.

Yes! On your fleet dashboard we have tabs that keep[ track of your requests and responses. You may click the "Total" or "AOG" requests tab and be taken to a listing that you can sort by type. You can open each one to review it's full details. You can also find all of the requests made for a specific aircraft on the actual aircraft dashboard page.

Yes! Just select the "Total" or "AOG" Requests tab on your dashboard. You can then sort and download a spreadsheet that lists the requests and their associated details.

The short answer is no. We believe that every aircraft operator has it's own requirements and/or audit process when it comes to hiring a maintenance provider. We would rather have all providers registered and leave it to the operator to determine if the provider is right for them. Each provider is able to upload their documents (i.e. - Repair Station Cert, Drug Program info, Training..etc..) that is viewable by the operator at anytime.

No. techconnect.aero does not get involved provider billing nor does it take any percentage of the job. We are strictly a subscription fee based service. We leave it between the operator and provider for billing and payments.
